This Scottish Amateur Football League's website was developed by MH Web Design (http://www.mhwebdesign.co.uk). MH Web Design is a Glasgow based company that specialise in building sophisticated database driven websites, ideal for football leagues management systems. This is an extremely powerful League Management System. The SAFL has 5 leagues, 6 cup competitions and over 50 teams. Our user friendly system makes it easy for fixtures and results to be published and tables updated accordingly. Previous years results are archived for reference. Every club in the league has its own page. This page provides contact information and illustrates the team’s colours. Fixtures and results can be selected for each club. A news board allows all of its members and interested parties to stay informed of events. Other facilities include a document download for the league’s magazine and handbook. The website also has an advert management system that can bring revenue much needed into the association. All of the site content is managed by an appointed site editor. The site was launched in August 2006 and it has been a massive hit with football supporters. More and more features are being added to the site keeping it at the forefront of football websites. This website was developed using PHP, MYSQL and Apache. It aims to meet the international standards as set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This website is XHTML strict and meets the minimum requirements for DDA Level A compliance. For more information about how this site was built click on the link at the bottom of the page.
